A dream come true ...
Our founder, Beth Travers had a dream of supplying blankets and
clothing to area hospitals for distribution to the families of
babies born too soon.
When a baby is born prematurely, the strain on a family is tremendous. During the weeks a baby stays in the hospital, it helps the family to see their little one dressed and nestled in handmade clothing, unavailable commercially.
Since September 2002, volunteers have handcrafted thousands of items for these special babies from donations of yarn, fabric and monetary gifts. It is a wonderful way to show the family that God has not forgotten them.

The group comes together, at the church in the new building, room L2, for two hours each Tuesday starting at 9:30 a.m. to share experiences, patterns and projects. Meetings are not required however, and donations may be dropped off on Sunday mornings after 9:00 a.m. in the church office. Feel free to create items you love to make and drop them off anytime.
